Mony and Benny back in. They must be back in good health, as I would think this game would be another rest game for them.

You're really going to complain about them starting Smith? He's been fine for a while now and has pretty much the same numbers as Rittich over the past few months.

I have no problem with them going with Rittich as the number one for the playoffs, but he shouldn't be starting every single game until the playoffs start, and they need to keep both guys sharp.

You also didn't seem to notice they're playing the Senators tonight. If you can't start your backup against the worst team in the league, why even have a backup?

You also need to actually watch a Flames' game or two before you start sputtering nonsense like Hathaway should be the guy coming out.

I'd suggest Hathaway coming out as well and I've been watching the games...
who else would you suggest? Ideally just leave it the way it is because I think I prefer Hath over what Neal has been bringing to the team, but doubt that happens

Agreed - Hath pretty much just brings physicality to the table when compared to Czar. We don't need that till playoffs.

Hathaway is the type of grinder/agitator/energy/penalty kill guy that's perfect for the 4th line. They aren't getting that stuff from anywhere else. Neal isn't coming in to be a 4th line grinder or kill penalties. Mangiapane or Czarnik aren't going to be effective as 4th line grinders either.

The only reason to put Neal in the lineup is to get him to do a better job than Mangiapane or Czarnik. That's the role he's sliding into so it makes sense one of them would sit. Well, to be fair, it would make sense that Neal keeps on sitting.

I agree with Hunk on this one. Hathaway should be a lock in the lineup every night on the 4th line, he does everything you would want a 4th liner to do and more.

Here are my 5 keys to the game:

1: Score more goals then the Senators
2: Get the PP going
3: Drink a beer, rinse and repeat, repeat and repeat
4: Hope Cassie Campbell isn't the colour commentator for the game
5: Hope the Sharks lose to LA

I agree with Hunk on this one. BP said Neal’s not playing until Saturday, so my guess is Quine will be out and Lazar will get sent down. Heck, Quine might get sent down as well, we have a log jam at defence now.

If I was a betting man, I’d say Frolik ends up on the 4th line, Neal plays 2nd line RW, and one of Mangiapane, Czarnik or Hathaway comes out.

I’d curious about playing Doc at 3rd line centre as well. He’s been playing quite well lately and wins on average 80% of his draws, or there abouts. We could use that against other teams 2nd lines.

I hope Peters goes with who is hot and making a difference. Neal is about the only guy in the room who has had a couple deep runs, but that don´t mean poop if he cannot start producing.

I really really hope he finds his groove.

Wow! That’s a terrible lineup for the Sens. We should have our way with them, except now that I’ve said that I’ve probably jinxed them.

We’re getting close to show time, sit back and enjoy the ride!

It's a terrible lineup and JG Pageau got suspended for a game.

The Flames better (frank)ing win this game.

With all the media saying this will be an easy game to play, I knew they’d score first. Lol
